Here's why it's a mixed review

This place is fantastic! The breakfast options, including delicious meats and European treats, were good. I appreciated the lovely walk-in shower and comfy bed.

The noise from adjacent rooms was quite disruptive, impacting our relaxation. Some communication with staff about room preferences left room for improvement. I expected better service.

It was light filled, good sized and with good comfort.

The room itself was reasonably large and had a particularly nice view. We enjoyed great coffee and free WiFi. The location was fantastic near the centre of Utrecht, you may take train on Utrecht Maliebaan train station within 15 minutes walk from here.

great room but a few quirks

I loved the large bathtub, it. The Italian showers added a luxurious touch to the bathroom. The view from my room was fine, with a charming glimpse of the city.

The heating in the room took longer to warm up than I expected.

Had a lovely stay where I was greeted with complimentary snacks and a cozy atmosphere in my room. The relaxing lounge area and fun game room were perfect for winding down after exploring. One small hiccup was the heating, which took a bit longer to warm up, but it didn't dampen my experience. 😊

The location in the heart of Utrecht is fantastic, perfect for exploring the city with our teens. We enjoyed the quirky design of the hotel, which cleverly blends history with comfort. The breakfast options were a lovely way to kick off our mornings.

This time in utrecht, i found the hotel cozy and charming, really exceeding my last visit. The room was spacious with a modern touch, and the bathroom facilities were clean and stylish. I loved the 24-hour access to coffee and tea, a nice surprise.

Excellent design and cute touches

I enjoyed the unique design of my room, beautifully incorporating the hotel's history. The thoughtful gesture of receiving a personalized note and chocolate upon arrival was a good surprise. The location allowed for easy access to interesting local cafés and shops. The breakfast offering could be improved, as it didn't quite meet my expectations for quality.

More accessible seating in common areas would be nice.

I stayed in a Standard Double or Twin Room. The bed was really comfy, and the space was larger than I expected. The walk-in shower was nice, but I wished for a bit more air circulation since my room had no exterior window. Everything felt modern, and the quirky decor added some charm. The overall vibe was really cool, but I missed having fresh air while sleeping. Can't complain too much though!

Cycled around the area-super convenient rental options. The room was clean and the beds comfy. Parking spots limited and hard to find, frustrating.

We really enjoyed the way our double room with bunk beds was arranged. the venue was in a very central location close to all the good restaurants, bars, and canals in Utrecht.

Stayed here for a really nice 4-night stay, where all the staff was excellent, resolving any issues; the room was good-sized and nicely furnished with a kettle, making it a comfortable place to stay all day.
